Surgical Microscope

The operating microscope greatly enhances our ability to view the tiniest details inside your tooth. By magnifying vision up to 25 times that of the naked eye, the dental microscope is useful in both diagnosis and treatment. The surgical Microscope helps finding hidden and accessory canals, locating and removing broken instruments, and preserving more tooth structure.

Cone Beam

Cone beam computed tomography is an innovative medical imaging technique that provides endodontists with three-dimensional views of the patient. In certain cases, CBCT greatly enhances the endodontist's ability to diagnose, evaluate, treat and care for patients.

During a CBCT scan, the machine rotates around the patient, capturing images using a cone-shaped X-ray beam. These images are then used to construct a 3-D representation of the patient's teeth, oral and maxillofacial region (mouth, jaw, and neck), and ears, nose, and throat. Watch the video below to learn more about how CBCT helps endodontists diagnosis and treat dental disease.

Digital X-Rays

We use a low-radiation digital X-ray system that uses reduced radiation compared to traditional film X-rays. The enhanced images improve diagnostic capabilities and make it easy for the patient to understand and be part of treatment decision making. Since digital X-rays eliminate the need for film development, they are eco-friendly by reducing waste and benefiting the environment.

Digital Intraoral Camera

This micro-camera is used to view the tooth under magnification and aid in the detection of cracks, resorptive defects and anatomical aberrations. The captured images can be shared with the patient, making it easier to explain and understand the recommended treatment.

Ultra Quiet Electric Handpiece

This drill is used to efficiently clean and shape root canals with reduced vibration and noise compared to the traditional dental drill, making the procedure shorter and preserving more tooth structure.

Ultrasonic Handpiece

Ultrasonic instruments serve as minimally invasive complements to the dental drill. The micro-vibrations of the delicate instrument tip assist in locating calcified root canals with great precision. During root canal retreatment, the ultrasonic handpiece facilitates removal of posts and broken instruments from canals. During endodontic surgery, this instrument is used for the preparation of retrograde canal seals.
